Sara Sharp
Raised by a family of small business owners, Sara is passionate about finding real world solutions to complex legal issues. Sara believes law firms should be as lean and creative as the businesses they represent, providing quality legal services in an efficient and responsive manner. After years of practicing law for large local and multinational firms, Sara joined up with a few other attorneys and formed SK&S Law Group in 2019 as a way to offer her clients the benefits of a large firm without the associated bureaucracy and overhead.
Sara has represented companies in a variety of industries and stages of development, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 public companies. As Partner at SK&S Law Group, Sara applies that experience to serve both established and emerging companies. She specializes in employer-sided employment law, healthcare law, regulatory advisement, and all related matters.
In addition to her business law experience, Sara also has a strong background in litigation and uses this to inform her transactional law practice.
Prior to law school, Sara worked in technical support. While in law school, Sara interned at the United Nations (UN) International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands. She obtained both her undergraduate and graduate degrees early and at the top of her class.
Sara has passed the uniform bar exam and is currently admitted to practice in Colorado. She is extremely involved in the community and is particularly passionate about diversity. She has been instrumental in organizing the nationally recognized Colorado Pledge to Diversity Program, which places dozens of diverse first year law students with top tier legal employers for paid internships each summer. She is also an active member of the University of Colorado Medical School Admissions Committee, and has been appointed to the Denver Bar Association Board of Trustees and the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors.
